दलीय राजनीतिमा होमिँदै बालेन बालेन देश विकास पार्टीमार्फत निर्वाचनमा भाग लिने तयारीमा छन् । निर्वाचन आयोगमा दर्ता भइसकेको यस पार्टीको चुनाव चिह्न लौरो छ । पहिले यो पार्टी अनन्तराज घिमिरेका नाममा थियो । तर पछिल्लो समय पार्टीको नेतृत्वमा सन्ध्या खनाललाई ल्याइएको छ ।
बालेन र सीकेबीच के कुरा भयो ? बालेनले मधेशकेन्द्रित राजनीति गरिरहेको जनमतका प्रमुख राउतसँग भेटवार्ता गरी वैकल्पिक राजनीतिक शक्तिहरु मिलेर यात्रा गर्ने प्रस्ताव गरे । ........ श्रृंखलाबद्ध राजनीतिक भेटघाट गरिरहेका काठामाडौंका मेयर बालेन्द्र शाह (बालेन) ले जनमत पार्टीका अध्यक्ष सीके राउतसँग पार्टी एकताको प्रस्ताव गरेका छन् । ......... ‘बालेनजीको एउटै पार्टी बनाएर जाऔं भन्ने प्रस्ताव थियो,’ राउतले भने, ‘हामी यसबारेमा विचार गर्छौं ।’ ......... बालेन र सीकेबीच बुधबार आधा घण्टा भेटवार्ता भएको थियो ।
