Dr. Raut Released from Dillibazar Prison on Bail
To address mass-meeting on 26th November in Ratnapark, Kathmandu at 12:00pm

Kathmandu- 24th November 2014, Respecting the verdict of lakhs of people, who with much love and trust, voluntarily donated one-rupee each to secure the release of Dr. C. K. Raut; to unveil the conspiracies of national and foreign power-centers to prevent Madheshis from getting their rights, to kill Dr. Raut in fake encounters in the police custody, and to finish him off in a mafia-style by hiring a shooter, Dr. Raut decided to get out of jail by paying the bail amount of Rs.50,000/- as ordered by the Special Court.

Dr. Raut is scheduled to address a mass-meeting on November 26th, 2014 at 12:00 PM in Ratna Park, Kathmandu. It should be noted that the national and foreign forces shall attempt their best to foil our peaceful assembly on the day and prevent Dr. Raut from addressing the mass, by confining him behind the bars through any possible and unjust means. But our scheduled programme shall continue by all means. All well-wishers, journalists, intellectuals and diplomats are kindly requested to attend the mass-meeting.

Upon release from the special court in Babarmahal, Dr. Raut thanked the gathering waiting eagerly outside and said that all the recent events, sufferings and his stay in jail had made him stronger and more passionate and determined about his goal. Dr. Raut was arrested on September 13th, 2014 by the Morang Police. The Government of Nepal had filed a treason charge against him demanding life-imprisonment on October 8th for expressing his views on separate Madhesh. He was sent to the Dillibazar Jail on October 14th, after he refused to pay a bail amount of 50,000 rupees, as ordered by the Special Court.

संघीयता जे होइन

२००६ को अप्रिल क्रांतिले पैदा गरेको यो संविधान सभा। त्यो क्रान्तिको आदेश हो गणतन्त्र र धर्म निरपेक्षता। मधेसी क्रान्तिको आदेश हो संघीयता। त्यो आदेश नमान्ने अधिकार यो संविधान सभालाई छैन। त्यहाँ दुई तिहाई र तीन चौथाईको कुरै छैन। १००% सभासदले मिलेर पनि संघीयता अथवा गणतन्त्र र धर्म निरपेक्षतालाई मिल्काउन सक्दैनन्।

भने पछि बारम्बार काँग्रेस र एमालेले संघीयता जे हुँदै होइन त्यस्ता प्रस्तावहरु ल्याएर के गर्न खोजेको? संघीयतामा राज्यको आफ्नै सर्वोच्च अदालत हुन्छ। तर काँग्रेस-एमाले प्रस्तावमा मैले त्यो देखिराखेको छैन। संघीयतामा राज्यको आफ्नै प्रहरी हुन्छ। तर काँग्रेस-एमाले प्रस्तावमा अहिलेको नेपाल प्रहरीलाई नै संघीय नेपालका राज्यहरुमाथि लाद्ने भन्ने छ।

गधालाई - I mean - वामदेवलाई मान्छे भनेर कहीं हुन्छ?

सुशील-वामदेव: खतरनाक कि निकम्मा?

नेपाल-भारत सम्बन्धलाई नया किसिमले पुनर्स्थापित गर्ने मोदीको इच्छा हो। समानताको कुरा। आर्थिक क्रांतिको कुरा। भारतलाई विकसित देश बनाउने मोदीको सपना हो। क्षमता भएका मान्छे हुन। गर्न सक्छन। १० वर्ष मात्र समय मागेका छन। साथै नेपाललाई पनि विकसित देश बनाउन चाहन्छन्। इच्छा छ। नेपाललाई असाध्यै माया गर्ने मान्छे मोदी। पैसावालको पो पॉकेटमारी हुन्छ, कंगाल मान्छेको पनि कहीं पॉकेटमारी हुन्छ। मोदीले नेपाललाई ठग्न खोजेको भन्ने hint दिने हरुको टाउको भित्र दिमाग होइन, गोबर छ। कहाँ भारत विश्वको तेस्रो सबैभन्दा ठुलो अर्थतंत्र, कहाँ नेपाल।

सुशील-वामदेवको सरकार निकम्मा भएकोले मोदी जनकपुर नआएको

घोडालाई पानी सम्म लग्न सकिन्छ, तर जबरजस्ती पानी खुवाउन सकिँदैन। सुशील-वामदेव-केपी भनेका देशलाई पानी नखाने घोडा बनाएर राखेका मान्छे हरु हुन। जुसिल्किरा साइज का इ मान्छे हरुलाई खतरनाक भनौं भने कसरी भनौं ---- तर निकम्मा चाहिं भन्नै पर्ने हुन्छ।

घोक्रे ठयाक लगाएर नेपालको राजनीति बाट फाल्नु पर्ने मान्छे हरु।

मोदी आखिर जनकपुर नआउने नै भए। वामदेव गदगद होला। नेपालको सार्वभौमिकता जोगिए जस्तो लागिरहेको होला। भारतका केही राज्यमा चुनावका कारणले मोदीको यात्रा स्थगित भएको भनिए पनि यथार्थ त्यो होइन। मोदीलाई बिहार र उत्तर प्रदेश दुवै ठाउँमा आफ्नो पार्टीको सरकार बनाउनु छ। जनकपुर र लुम्बिनीको भ्रमणले त त्यसमा बल पुग्ने हो। सुशील-वामदेवको सरकार निकम्मा हो भन्न भएन अर्को देशको राष्ट्राध्यक्षले। तर यथार्थ चाहीं त्यही हो। जनकपुर नगरीलाई वामदेवले ५०० करोडको चुना लगाउन भ्यायो।

मोदी जनकपुर आएर नेपालको सार्वभौमिकतामा धक्का पुग्छ भने मोदी (अथवा Xi Jinping) ७५ जिल्ला जाने हो भने नेपालको सार्वभौमिकतामा ७५ गुना ठुलो धक्का लाग्ने मान्नु पर्छ। तर त्यो सही होइन। चीनका राष्ट्रपति Xi Jinping नेपाल भरि जति घुमुन मलाई केही आपत्ति छैन। घुमने इच्छा र समय नै छैन उसको।

यो त भोको मान्छेलाई खीर दिन खोज्दा वामदेवले खीरलाई लात्ता हानेको हो। भोको मान्छे एउटा शहर होइन, सारा देश हो।

मोदी किन आएनन भन्दा जब तिनले आफ्नो नेपालको कार्यक्रम review गरे उनले देखे जनकपुरमा आम जनतालाई सम्बोधन गर्ने item नै छैन, अनि उनले जनकपुर त्यसो भए नजाने भने। एक चोटि नजाने निर्णय त्यसरी गरि सकेपछि फेरि आम सभा सम्बोधन अब राख्ने भनेर आउने बेरोजगार मान्छे हो र उ? संसारको सबैभन्दा busy मान्छे हो।

सगुन, अंजन, छेपाक, डिल्ली, विनोद, कृष्ण

मेरो अंजन र छेपाक संग गफ भइ राखेको थियो। त्यो भन्दा अगाडि फेब्रुअरी तिर डिल्ली सँग पनि गफ भएको हो। सगुन न्यु यर्क आए पछि केही कुरा छर्लङ्ग भए।

राउंड १ fundraising को गोल हो राउंड २ fundraising गर्ने ------ because if you can not do that, you are dead. मेरो सगुन सँग deal भइ सकेको छ। सगुनले rapidly growing user base चाहिं देखाउनु पर्ने, र त्यसको आधारमा मैले सगुन का लागि राउंड २ fundraising गर्न lead role खेल्ने। राउंड २ भनेको मिलियन डॉलर भन्दा बढ़ी हुन्छ।

मेरो आफ्नै tech startup को 15K fundraising भइ सकेको, 10K को pledge प्राप्त भइ सकेको, 25K हाल्ने एकै जना पाउन लागेको अवस्था छ। 50 K को गोल हो। त्यो पुरा भए पछि मेरो राउंड १ बन्द हुन्छ। अनि त्यस पछिका राउंड हरुमा आउने भनेको प्रोफेशनल इन्वेस्टर हरु मात्र हो।

सगुनले 350K fundraising गरेको छ, 150K थप fundraising गर्ने प्रयासमा छ।

मैले विनोद, डिल्ली, अंजन, छेपाक, कृष्ण सँग गफ गर्दा राउंड २ सम्म पुग्नलाई राउंड १ मा ३० देखि ५० K प्रयाप्त हुने जस्तो रोडमैप देखाएको थिएँ। सगुनको रोडमैप भन्दा १० गुणा सस्तो देखियो त मैले महिनौ अगाडि देखाएको रोडमैप। तर I have met with an utter refusal to move. विनोदले त 20K अझ खर्च गरिसकेको। तर गल्ती त्यहाँ के गर्यो, प्रोडक्ट बनाउँदा आफ्नो कुरा मात्र गर्यो, मेरो कुरा सुन्दै सुनेन। अब मैले भन्दै छु, अब 1K अझ खर्च गर्ने, यस पटक १००% मेरो कुरा सुन्ने, version २ बनाउने। उसको app ३०० डाउनलोड मा गएर अड्केको छ। चाहिएको ५०,००० डाउनलोड।

डिल्ली, अंजन, छेपाक, कृष्णले आईडिया चाहिं राम्रो राम्रो ल्याए तर if you refuse to move, you are an academic, not an entrepreneur.

China, Burma, Afghanistan: Future Members Of SAARC

चिनले मुख खोल्यो सार्क सदस्य बन्ने चाहाना

I don't take China at face value. The China of the future that I see is a China where Taiwan is fully integrated, where Hong Kong is not an island of democracy, but China itself has gone through political reforms and has become plural, where there is federalism, and Tibet is a state, and there is religious freedom. The Dalai Lama is the religious leader, but the Chief Minister of Tibet is duly elected by the people. I want China to keep growing at double digit rates. I am an admirer of the fact that China has lifted more people out of poverty than any power in human history.

Having said that, I think Tibet is very much part of South Asia. That has been true for thousands of years. And since Tibet is part of China, it only makes sense that China should be a member of SAARC. As should Burma and Afghanistan.
